Rick Maier has lived in Macon for twenty years, observing the rich and diverse culture of Middle Georgia with a “not from around here” perspective. Since 2000 he has served as CFO at Wesleyan College in Macon. His experiences as a father, executive, community activist and freelance columnist have allowed him to meet a wide variety of people who have been most generous in sharing their stories. His novels include Bone Dust, Exit South and the newly written Orange Terrace.
