I keep working on my ‘elevator speech’ for when people ask, “What’s the book about?”
Orange Terrace is a fictional thriller about Sam, a straw man who tries to buy a row of old houses on Orange Terrace to expand the hospital. The combative owners include an old guy with a mortally bad back, a house full of ne’er-do-well college boarders, an old grouch who is so mad that he might just kill someone, and a woman with a beautiful divorced daughter. Just as you know how it ends, there’s another twist to the story.
